Terlaner Cuvée 2018

Bright straw. Delicate, refined aromas of orchard fruit, sweet herbs and fresh citrus fruit. Vibrant and juicy, closing long with floral and mineral nuances. Lovely wine. A blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon.
Quarz 2018

Straw-green with golden tinges. Clean, fresh aromas of gooseberry, lime and guava strike me as less pungent and penetrating than in past vintages (no doubt due to the hot 2017 vintage). Rich and multilayered, with good freshness to the citrus and herb flavors. Finishes with hints of lemon verbena and outstanding length.
Vorberg 2016
94
Luminous golden-tinged straw-yellow. Very clean candied citrus peel, baked apple, fresh pear, beeswax and mineral aromas complicated by white flowers on the complex nose. Then very pure and fresh, with the Pinot Bianco–typical mellow mouthfeel lifted here by juicy, vibrant acidity. Finishes long and clean. The Vorberg is best when the grapes aren’t superripe and Pinot Bianco’s and Terlano’s characteristics are able to shine through, as they do in this vintage
Porphyr 2016

Fully saturated ruby. Lovely lift to the multifaceted aromas of raspberry, coffee, underbrush, liquid rocks and wild mint. Sweet and silky on entry, then rich and deep but also oak-dominated in the middle, with pure red berry intensity slightly camouflaged by herbal, sweet spice and soil notes. This expands and grows on the long back half, but needs to spend a couple more years in the cellar to approach optimal drinkability.
Terlaner I Grande Cuvée 2016

Bright yellow. Discreet, pure, high-pitched aromas of white flowers, peach, pear and hazelnut reveal toasty oak elements. Then surprisingly generous and tactile in the mouth, with sexy stone and orchard fruit flavors nicely framed by integrated acidity. Finishes seamless, juicy, deep and long.
Nova Domus 2016

Deep straw-yellow. Aromas and flavors of apple, pear, bergamot and aromatic herbs. Big, rich and mellow, with sweet spices on the long, fresh but currently slightly clenched finish.
